Glory Ama launches Amari Scalp Care

Scalp health is crucial for overall hair care, as emphasised by dermatologists and beauty experts worldwide. Proper scalp care can prevent hair loss and result in healthier, stronger hair. Recognising this, Glory Ama, the founder of Amari Hair Care, has launched Amari Scalp care, Nigeria’s first dedicated scalp care brand.

Glory Ama, also co-founder of Dexon Group, believes in creating value and solving problems through business. “I started Amari Scalp care because I saw a gap in the market for products that cater specifically to scalp health. Our mission is to provide effective solutions for common scalp issues that many Nigerians face,” says Ama.

Many Nigerians deal with scalp problems such as dryness, dandruff, and hair loss. Despite the importance of scalp care, there has been a lack of dedicated products in the Nigerian market. Amari Scalp care aims to fill this gap by offering innovative solutions.

There’s a growing trend among Africans to embrace their natural hair, despite the challenges in maintaining it. Movies like “King of Boys” and “Lionheart” celebrate the beauty and strength of African heritage, including natural hair. Amari Scalp care supports this movement by providing products specifically tailored to the needs of natural hair.

The brand stands out with its unique, plant-based, and bioactive ingredients. Products like the Caffeine Scalp Serum , Vitamin E Serum and African Black Soap Shampoo Bar are designed to nourish and heal the scalp. The recent heatwave in Nigeria has exacerbated scalp issues, making products that combat dryness and irritation even more essential.

It has already achieved significant milestones. The brand was invited to showcase its products at the National Exhibition Centre in the UK, highlighting its international appeal. Over 1,000 users have embraced the products, leaving hundreds of positive reviews.

In addition to its innovative products, Amari Hair Care is committed to social responsibility. The brand partnered with the Talent Mine Initiative to support education for girls and works with social enterprises to assist small businesses. “We believe in giving back to the community and supporting sustainable practices,” Ama adds.

Looking ahead, the brand plans to continue innovating, the launch promises to further transform the scalp care landscape in Nigeria. Glory Ama envisions a future where scalp health is prioritized, leading to healthier hair and a more confident community. “Our journey has just begun. We are excited to set new standards in the beauty and personal care industry,” Ama concludes.

It is not just a brand; it’s a movement towards better scalp health and natural beauty, inspired by the strength and resilience seen in Nigerian movies and culture.
