The impossibility specialist, the God of Chosen, waded into the case of Brother Augustine Ule and, his wife, Sister Veronica whose marriage was yoked with barrenness for 18 years.
They cried, wailed, fasted, prayed, visited several places, while doctors proffered their own recommendations, among others, yet all efforts were in futility until God remembered them. God turned their captivity around.
Testifying about the goodness of God, Brother Ule said: “My wife, Sister Veronica and our six children live at Ilufe and worshipped in our branch there. Our testimony started in 2019 when God visited my marriage with a bouncing baby boy after 18 years of barrenness. While the barrenness lasted, it was not a palatable experience. We came to service here one day, and after service that fateful day, l went to the car park and was about to go when one of the pastors at Isashi, came to me and said, ‘brother, you have prayed, fasted and done everything needed, but one thing remained…’ I asked him what was it? He said ‘a crusade is coming up at Isashi,’ and that he would want me to sponsor the construction of the pulpit where the servant of God would stand and minister. I was happy when I heard that.
The next morning he called me and told me the cost of the pulpit and l transferred the money through my wife. As soon as the money was transferred, the pastor there, went into fervent prayers for the family that sponsored the pulpit. That fateful evening, my wife went to the crusade ground to see how things were going and coincidentally, our General Overseer was there too. The Branch Pastor told the General Overseer that the pulpit was sponsored by a particular family and General Overseer asked whether the family was there, quickly the pastor called my wife and General Overseer pointed his finger on her fore-head, prayed and cancelled the yoke of barrenness. After that encounter and crusade, my wife became pregnant and gave birth to my first son — Dominion.” P-r-a-i-s-e, the Lord!
Brother Ule continued: “The second pregnancy was my little girl, called Joy. My wife’s third pregnancy gave us twin boys — Destiny and Divine. Today, being Sunday, May 26, 2024), we are here again to testify that the good Lord has done it again, as He has blessed my marriage with another set of twins — Promise and Success. P-r-a-i-s-e, the Lord! The God of Chosen is too great.
Praying for the General Overseer, the elated Brother said: “I pray for G.O. to finish well and for heaven and earth to rejoice on his behalf… Amen!
In her own word, Sister Veronica said: “This is the doing of the Lord and it is marvellous in our eyes. May His name be glorified in Jesus’ name … Amen!”
