Good news for diabetic patients

Sir: According to Brutsaert, MD, Medical College, New York, diabetes mellitus is a disorder in which the amount of sugar in the blood is elevated. Doctors often use the full name diabetes mellitus rather than diabetes alone to distinguish this disorder from arginine vasopressin deficiency, which used to be called diabetes insipidus.

However, the World Health Organisation (WHO) reported that “about 422 million people worldwide have diabetes, the majority living in low- and middle-income countries, and 1.5 million deaths are directly attributed to diabetes each year. Both the number of cases and the prevalence of diabetes have been steadily increasing over the past few decades. This is quite alarming, to say the least.

Eating bambara nuts can help you lower your blood sugar. This is because it contains chemical compounds that help regulate blood sugar levels in one’s body. Not only that, but the consumption of banana nut seeds helps prevent heart disease. This is because of its high fibre content—Bambara nut, which helps to reduce cholesterol levels in one’s body. In addition, bambara nuts can also help reduce inflammation and improve blood vessel function.

Daily consumption of Bambara nuts greatly helps to manage blood pressure. Because high blood pressure is the leading cause of heart disease and stroke, In light of this, taking it seriously will help one manage his blood pressure well. However, large cohort studies have demonstrated that high BP is an important risk factor for heart failure, atrial fibrillation, chronic kidney disease, heart valve diseases, aortic syndromes, and dementia, in addition to coronary heart disease and stroke.

However, those who are diabetic patients should be addicted to consuming Bambara nuts to have their blood sugar regulated. And that, not only for those who are diabetic, but also for others who don’t have the ailment, it is of great benefit to them to be prevented from becoming diabetic patients.

In view of the aforementioned deadly ailments and the way out of confronting them, I encourage those who are diabetic and others who are not to heed to my healthy recommendations and always act carefully so as to manage their health condition.
