The Young Progressive Party (YPP) governorship candidate in the 2023 Oyo State election, Aduragbemi Animasawun-Euba, has donated relief materials and food items to the victims of Ibadan explosion victims.
Animasawun-Euba who handed over the items to the management of Redeemers’ Hospital, said the items were essential to aid the recovery of those affected by the incident.
She emphasised her commitment to ongoing cooperation with relevant authorities in contributing to investigations and striving to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
She said: “Our visit to the hospital was to assess the recovery progress of the victims. The varying pace of recovery is linked to the severity of injuries sustained. We commend the medical professionals for their dedication, reassuring the patients that they are not alone on their healing journey.”
She prayed that God should comfort and give those that lost their loved ones and property the fortitude to bear their losses, while also seeking the government’s intervention in giving compensation to those affected.
