Group canvasses inclusion persons with disabilities

The Chairman, 7 Stars lnter-Global Property, Ambassador Moses Chukwuma Ezenwaka,  has stressed the need for equal opportunities and inclusiveness for people living with disabilities.


He appealed to the government and society to cater for people with them, adding that “sometimes unforeseen occurrences might make people  prone to becoming disabilities, either through accident, old age, diseases or other ailments.”

The support will help these special persons to contribute their quota to nation-building.

The group gave food  stuff and cash  gifts to  members of the foundation  to assist them .”


Ezenwaka added that they needed empathy and not pity.

He said he was moved by Kelly  Blind, a visually –impaired person who gave back to others on social media.

Also speaking, President, inner Eyes Foundation, Kelly  Blind, emphasised the need for the government,  corporate bodies and well. Meaning Nigerians to prioritise social equity and inclusion of everyone in society, without discrimination.

He lamented that over 23 million of clusters of persons of disability are being, neglected, cheated and abandoned in the Programmes and policies.

The Foundation also celebrated the indomitable spirit of individuals with disabilities for their remarkable contributions to entrepreneurship and society.


The foundation said some of their members were affected by alleged illegal demolition of their building by suspected touts at lbeju Lekki, saying the affected members were homeless.
“We are calling on the Lagos State government and relevant authorities to address these issues,” they pleaded.

According to him, the foundation is resolute in addressing the plights of members in difficult situations to overcome challenges and achieve their aspirations.

Mrs.  Ekaete William, women leader of foundation said clusters of disability are worse hit at perilous times. She said PLWDs should not be left in terms of gainful employment, education, vocational training, skilled and employment programmes, saying together, a world  where  diversity is embraced and everyone  regardless of their physical  abilities is allowed to grow and can be built

The government should do more for them and not to pay lip service.

She appreciated the  stakeholders for kind gesture, especially at difficult times
