It was excitement for the students and the lecturers of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (Mapoly), Abeokuta, Ogun State, when celebrity hype man and event host alumni, Ogundana Ademola, well-known as Hardvantage returned to the school on a visit to his department and donated a public address system to enhance the learning system, and cash gifts.
Speaking during the visit, Hardvantage, who graduated from the institution years back, said, “I will just say I am returning to where it all began. It’s a proud moment for me as I revisit my alma mata. I’m grateful for the journey, inspired by the memories and excited for what lies ahead. I’m glad the token is well accepted. This is the beginning of a new dawn, I’ll be back and it will be huge.”
Reminiscing on the formative years of his career, where he organised shows on campus, he said, “I can remember days where I organised events in and outside campus with a popular semester event I tagged Rap Battle.
“It amazed me how students never want to miss it then and it gives me so much happiness that I put in all my effort, and thanks to my team, colleagues and the department for always encouraging and supporting me. It was a departmental show that later involved the entire school and later expanded to the other institutions in Ogun State,” he added.
