Harrysong Gets Appointment From Delta State Government

Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori have appointed Nigerian singer Harrysong as the Executive Assistant on Entertainment.


Harrysong, not one to shy away from the limelight, shared his appointment letter on Instagram with a playful request to be called “Honourable Superstar Harrysong.” The singer expressed his gratitude to the governor for the trust placed in him and hinted at an upcoming extravaganza in March.

“Newly Appointed E.A (executive assistant). Entertainment. To the Executive Governor of Delta State RT Hon. Sheriff F.O.Oborevwori,” he wrote.

Known for his genre-blending style that fuses Afropop and dancehall, Harrysong stepped into the spotlight in 2010 with hits like ‘I’m In Love’ and ‘Taiye & Kehinde.’

The artist, who initially found his rhythm as a music director in the church, has accumulated numerous accolades for his contributions to the Nigerian music scene.
