HREA to tackle digitisation challenges in workplace

In an effort to tackle digitalisation challenges in the workplace and advance technology-driven work experience in Africa, the Human Resource Expo Africa (HREA), organisers of industry-leading conferences, exhibitions and training, is set to hold its 2022 international work festival.

The Founder, HREA, Erefa Coker, said the program became germane to address digitalization hitches in the workplace to boost organisation productivity.

Coker spoke at a virtual press conference to announce its forth ‘International Work Festival 2022’ with the theme, “The Future of Work in a Technology-driven World (Work-Humans).”

The event, according to the organizer, is scheduled for Lagos (Nigeria) and Kigali (Rwanda) between April 5 and 7, 2022.

Coker said, “The future of work is already here, and it’s influencing how people live. At this year’s Work Festival 2022, we will be sharing wholesomely about what you need for success in a rapidly transforming world where new innovations are being developed that affect both employees and employers alike.

“The rapid changes since technology was introduced into the workplace have led us to experience major transformations like those offered by emerging technologies currently available today, such as artificial intelligence-powered machines or augmented reality and many more.

“The biggest driver of digital transformation has been COVID-19 because, before March 2020, it was difficult to see people working from home.

When we bring speakers from across the world, it is to come and tell us their experience and how they are succeeding so that we can begin to practice it within our culture,” She said.
