I was denied roles for refusing to be harassed sexually -Funke Akindele

Nigerian actress Funke Akindele has shared her ordeals growing up and making it in the Nigerian movie industry, despite the sexual harassment. She revealed this on the Arise TV program ‘The Perspectives’ with Ruth Osime.

According to Akindele, she believed “challenges are bound to come while passing through the obstacles.”I did not let it kill me, even though the big NOs can be so disappointing.“The urge to make it was there, for me” she said.
