I Was Told Olamide’s 1million Gift Too Small – Cynthia Morgan

Dancehall artiste Cynthia Morgan has stirred up controversy, saying rapper Olamide gifted her what her tribesmen will loan her with insults.

In an Instagram post, the 32-year-old singer shared how she was advised against publicly acknowledging Olamide’s N1 million gift by an unnamed individual who deemed the amount insufficient.

Expressing her disbelief at the suggestion, Cynthia Morgan disclosed that she chose to distance herself from the person who made the statement.

“Told someone Olamide sent me a million naira some months ago and the guy said I shouldn’t put it out there because the money is too small,” Morgan said.

“Had to stop talking to that guy because I didn’t understand.

“Although it was never my intention to put it out here, that statement almost made me post it immediately.

“1 million naira wey my own tr!bes man loan me insult me join. Abeg. Olamide thank you.”

She explained that while she initially intended to keep Olamide’s gesture private, the discouraging remark prompted her to speak out.

Interestingly, she highlighted how the same sum had been loaned to her by her former record label accompanied by insults.

Cynthia Morgan took to social media to thank Olamide, emphasizing the significance of his gesture despite its monetary value.
