The Marriage Cana Booth Camp sponsored by the Rector and Management of Ibru International Ecumenical Centre, Agbarha-Otor, Delta State, has been scheduled to hold from August 3 to 6, 2023, at the centre.
Speaking on the event, the Rector, Venerable Stephen Wolemonwu, said: “Looking at the damage satan is doing to families and marriages on a daily basis, we are compelled under God to bring few couples together for few days and expose them intentionally to good spiritual and physical bonding activities in God’s Holy presence and ground. The four-day couple-bonding meeting will not only be a meeting, but another form of holy vacation.
“For instance, it will feature teachings, interactive sessions, games, joint prayers, reflective moments, site seeing, outings, outdoor games, indoor games, swimming, early morning walk with prayers, among others.
“We are soliciting for the support of every Nigerian to hold the event. Members can help forward the link for registration to couples around them and also to let them know that this kind of meeting might help grow in their relations and family.
“It will cost us N1.5 million to host about 30 couples. The money will cover accommodation and feeding for three nights. Your support will be greatly appreciated. It is a free meeting and our desire is to reach out to 30 couples. It will be held at Ibru Ecumenical Centre Agbarha-Otor.”
