The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), yesterday, said it will deploy the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) and INEC Result Viewing Portal (IREV) for the February 12, 2022, Area Council election in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
It said both technologies would be deployed for the voter accreditation and uploading of polling unit results.
The Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, disclosed this during a sensitisation forum for Broadcast Media Practitioners in the FCT on the forthcoming poll.
He added that the poll would be conducted in the newly created polling units across the six area councils.
