J-Fash displays versatility on EP The Beginning

Rising Afrobeat/rap artiste, Adeniyi Fashina Junior, also known as J-Fash has taken his musical skill to a new level with the release of his first body of work, an Extended Play (EP) entitled The Beginning.

The EP which consists of eight tracks – Grace, Aje, Coming Through, Drop It In, Wayray (Soro Soke), Ojo Ife, Olewu and Omotena, features some established music stars like, Koffi Tha Guru and K-Solo, as well as other artistes including Toqx Lion, Mayor Wise, Geecy, 2Kiss and illela


Born and raised in Lagos, Fash-J who is the first child of his parents’ five children, said he discovered his singing ability during his secondary school days, while at Oriwu Model College Ikorodu, Lagos.

According to him, his friends would join him to hit the desks to make beats and vibes on any latest songs making the waves at that moment, while also using the music book.

The Business Administration National Diploma holder explained that he ventured into music fully after completing high school, adding, “I decided to go deeper into music, mingling with artistes to be updated, until 2009 when I met Owoblow who discovered me.”

Speaking on his future plans, he said: “I am working hard on the next projects as I plan on becoming one of the best and biggest artists in the world. I plan to continue to keep dropping hits back to back for the street & home setting and continue to appreciate my families, friends for the love and support.

“His aspiration is to collaborate with some of the big names in music such as Davido (a.k.a Omo Baba Olowo), Naira Marley, and Q-DOT among others.
