Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who rekindled their romance in 2021 and married in 2022, are reportedly living apart.
This news comes just weeks after Lopez attended the Met Gala without Affleck by her side.
Affleck’s rep attributes his absence to filming commitments in Los Angeles.
However, the couple’s living situation has sparked rumours of trouble in paradise, especially as their second wedding anniversary approaches.
The couple, who famously dated in the early 2000s before calling off their engagement, reconnected in 2021 and have been open about the challenges of navigating their high-profile relationship in the public eye.
Talking about their love affair in the early 2000s, in Lopez’s The Greatest Love Story Never Told documentary, Affleck said, “Getting back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media.’ And then I sort of realised it’s not a fair thing to ask.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez spoke to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in 2022, about their 2004 break up before finally coming together again in 2021 and admitted it was a painful experience apart.
“Once we called off that wedding 20 years ago, it was the biggest heartbreak of my life,” she explained. “I honestly felt like I was going to die.”

Lopez added that the split “sent me on a spiral for the next 18 years where I just couldn’t get it right.
But now, 20 years later, it does have a happy ending. It has the most ‘would never happen in Hollywood’ ending.”
While Lopez and Affleck’s reps have not commented on the rumours, fans are watching closely to see if Bennifer 2.0 can weather this storm.
