Kai Cenat Departs Ghana Due To Network Issues

Popular American streamer and YouTuber Kai Cenat has cut his visit to Ghana short due to persistent network issues.

Cenat, who embarked on a continental tour across Africa, expressed his frustration over the lack of Wi-Fi connectivity in the country.

This came as a surprise to many, especially considering Ghana’s reputation for hospitality and vibrant culture. Cenat’s experiences in Ghana were highly anticipated following his adventurous four-day stay in Nigeria, where he enjoyed the company of Afrobeats star Davido and content producer Shanks Comics.

However, the excitement quickly turned to disappointment when Cenat took to social media to share his ordeal.

In a video that surfaced online, Kai Cenat lamented the absence of Wi-Fi, stating, “No WIFI in Ghana.”

The cause of Cenat’s connectivity woes can be traced back to significant damage to multiple submarine communication cables, which has resulted in major internet access cuts across West Africa.

Countries like Ivory Coast, Liberia, Benin, Ghana, and Burkina Faso have been heavily affected, with telecom operators like MTN Group and Vodacom acknowledging the breaks and working on rerouting traffic and repairing the cables.

For now, Kai Cenat’s African tour has taken an unexpected detour.
