Twitch streamer Kai Cenat has announced his intention to take legal action against Onlyfans model for leaking his private images and messages.
The model, Layla Red, shared screenshots of her conversation with Cenat which showed him paying $5000 to have sex with her. Her Instagram account was suspended shortly after.
The popular content creator addressed the issue during his latest Twitch stream, reassuring his viewers that he would handle the matter through legal means.
In his first stream after the incident, Cenat appeared calm and unfazed by the controversy surrounding the leaked posts accusing him of paying for sex.
He addressed his viewers, acknowledging the situation and hinting at legal repercussions for the person behind the leak. “There is some dumb sh*t, clout-chasing weird ass sh*t going on right now bro. But it’s alright though, it’s alright chat. I’ll see you in court,” he declared.
During the stream, Cenat stated his willingness to explain the circumstances surrounding the leaked content, urging his viewers to listen to his side of the story. “Got you! Okay? Listen to me, okay? I can explain, bro. Listen to me chat, okay, I can explain.”
Describing the leaking of his private content as “clout-chasing sh*t,” Cenat clarified that the incidents discussed in the posts dated back to early 2023. “There is some weird sh*t going on right now, some weird clout chasing sht going right now, bro. And you know what’s so crazy? Do you know that sht was in the beginning of 2023? All that sht that you guys see right now is 2023 sh*t bro, you feel me? Like, goddamn, bro!” he explained.
Cenat later redirected the conversation, expressing his desire to focus on lighter topics. “But yeah, we are not going to talk about it no more. Let’s talk about flowers, rainbows, Ice Spice, come on,” he said, steering the discussion away from the controversy.
If taken to court, this situation could potentially be considered a case of revenge porn. Revenge porn involves the unauthorized distribution of intimate images or videos with the intent to cause harm, embarrassment, or distress to the individual depicted.
In this instance, if the leaked images and messages were shared without Kai Cenat’s consent and with the intention to tarnish his reputation or cause him distress, it could meet the criteria for revenge porn.
Additionally, if there is evidence to suggest that the individual responsible for the leak acted maliciously or with the intent to exploit Kai, it could further strengthen the case for revenge porn.
