Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has transmitted a list of fresh commissioner-designates to the state assembly for confirmation.
Yusuf had recently issued performance and evaluation of forms to members of the state executive council with a view to drop those with a poor performance rating.
During the inauguration of the commissioners, the Governor reminded members of the cabinet that the appointments are on probation, subject to review.
Confirming the executive list at the plenary on Tuesday, Speaker Kano state house of assembly, Jibril Falgore, said list contained names of four designates for legislative certification.
According to the speaker, the list include Adamu Aliyu Kibiya, Usman Shehu Aliyu, Abduljabbar Garko and Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Mustapha is the eldest son of the presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 general election, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
The assembly has reserved screening and confirmation of the nominees till Tuesday next week.
