Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has garnered praise worldwide for the recent declaration of free education in both primary and secondary schools across the state.

This commendation, as noticed by The Guardian, has poured in from Tarabans scattered globally, reflecting the significance of the governor’s initiative.

The National President of the Mbamnga Cultural Development Association (MCDA), Rev Eric Juyoh hailed the governor during a media interaction in Jalingo. Rev Juyoh, who also serves as a cleric, lauded the administration for fostering unity, peace, stability, and prosperity within just eight months.

He highlighted key achievements, stating that under Governor Kefas, the state now experiences free education, stable power supply, and timely payment of workers’ salaries.

Reflecting on the governor’s swift developmental strides, Rev Juyoh emphasized the need for prayers, collective support, and encouragement from all Tarabans to elevate the state to new heights.

He expressed gratitude for the governor, describing his leadership as a divine gift that has brought endless joy to the people.

Rev Juyoh recalled the challenges faced during his tenure as the national president of the Cultural Development Association, noting the unprecedented nature of the free education initiative.

He acknowledged the philanthropic efforts of the incumbent Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barrister Gebon Kataps, and the former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Able Diah, who have been instrumental in extending support to the people of the Mambilla Plateau.

Highlighting the community’s historical perspective, Rev Juyoh underscored that no previous administration had reached out to the people until Governor Kefas assumed office.

He urged Tarabans to set aside sentiments and rally behind the governor, emphasizing the importance of collective support for the continued delivery of democratic dividends in the state.
