The General Superintendent, Deeper Life Bible Church, William Folorunsho Kumuyi, has called on those occupying leadership positions to follow the footsteps of the only role model God gave to mankind through Jesus Christ.
He, therefore, gave the hope that the issue of insecurity would soon be a thing of the past in Nigeria.
Kumuyi, who spoke, yesterday, during the March edition of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) in Taraba State, which coincides with the church’s Easter retreat with the theme: “The All Sufficient Jesus,” said: “Leaders must key into one of the reasons for celebrating Easter by imbibing the leadership qualities of Jesus Christ.”
Meanwhile, Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, who was at the retreat, yesterday, with his wife, as well as members of his cabinet, said it was a privilege to have the servant of God in the state, which was the reason for mobilising members of his cabinet to the meeting.
He said that the coming of Kumuyi to hold a crusade in the state was the beginning of good things to take place in the state.
Also, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, in his goodwill message, urged Kumuyi to pray for peace in the country.
