Lagos to host Food & Beverage West Africa 2024 with over 300 exhibitors

The 2024 Food & Beverage West Africa trade exhibition, set to be the largest edition yet, will feature over 300 exhibitors from around the world and is expected to attract more than 5,000 industry professionals from the food retailing, hospitality, and supply sectors. The event will occupy all four halls at the Landmark Centre on Victoria Island, Lagos, from June 11th to 13th.

With pavilions from Italy, Indonesia, Thailand, Turkey, India, the USA, China, Egypt, Dubai, Pakistan, and Russia, the exhibition will showcase a vast array of food and beverage products. Additionally, there will be a strong local presence with over 40 Nigerian exhibitors featured in an SME Zone dedicated to showcasing local F&B entrepreneurs.

Organised by BtoB Events, the fifth edition of the exhibition is a prime opportunity for visitors to discover new products entering the Nigerian market and secure business deals. The event covers a broad range of F&B categories, including confectionery, snacks, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), alcohol, energy drinks, coffee and tea, sauces, spices, condiments, meat and poultry, rice, and machinery, among others.

Brad Smith, the Exhibition Manager, highlighted the significance of the event: “We bring the global food and beverage industry to West Africa, with exhibitors from over 40 countries spanning five continents, all with exciting products looking to do business within the West African market.”

Feedback from the 2023 show revealed that 89 per cent of visitors were successful in finding new suppliers for their business. The exhibition is seen as a unique platform for businesses to connect with key decision-makers in the African food and beverage industry.

“The efforts of our team behind the scenes to ensure the companies attending will meet top-level buyers, importers, and distributors from across the region are unmatched,” said Smith. “This is shown by the level of success companies achieve in the market after exhibiting at FAB West Africa.”
