The Lagos State Water Corporation (LWC) yesterday attributed the supply disruption experienced in some parts of the state to technical problems on its facilities.

Speaking with The Guardian, the spokesman of the corporation, Anifowoshe Rasaq, explained that the disruption was due to challenges faced at the LWC Major Waterworks Plants at Iju and Adiyan axes of the state.

Rasaq apologized to residents, particularly those that had been affected by the disruption, as efforts were on to fix the problems.

He, assured residents that potable water supply would soon be restored, adding that the corporation would not toy with the comfort of Lagosians.

“The corporation is undoubtedly committed to supplying potable water to every home in the state.

We are apologising to Lagosians for the inconvenience caused at this period, while thanking them for their patience, understanding and cooperation,” he said.
