Laime taps Odumodublvck on Where Dem Dey

Afro-fusion singer, Laime (pronounced Lah-e-meh) has ushered in his musical year with much renewed braggadocio as he is joined by acclaimed rapper Odumodublvck on the vibrant spinner, Where Dem Dey.

Produced by Apex Village honcho, Thrill Max, the record is a distinguishable sound and vibe from most of Laime’s earlier releases, and it’s foray into the world of pop-rap sonics.

On Where Dem Dey, Laime and Odumodublvck brilliantly conveyed a vivid story about loyalty, indulgence, betrayal, and revenge, while maintaining the allure of relatability to anyone who comes from hardships and the streets of Nigeria with the use of certain nuances and phrases.

When talking about the new single, the Lagos-based artiste described it as “aggressive”, “dark” and “braggadocious”, with a great beat to compliment it. And the guest verse by Odumodublvck was a fine complement to the record as the rapper flaunted his charismatic and audacious pen game and delivery.

A progressively outstanding song all around, from the beat to the audacious lyrics, Where Dem Dey is out across music streaming services.
