The Guardian learnt that Oforbuike, a mother of five, who operates a beer parlour in Nasarawa State, had in November last year, discovered a huge sum of money a customer left in her shop.
She was said to have gone in search of the owner and after several weeks and returned the money intact, even when she needed money to settle her house rent and school fees of the children.
However, in January this year, Modesta was chased out of her accommodation and her shop taken away due to failure to pay her rent.
She was forced to relocate to Onitsha, Anambra state to join her husband who is a petty trader and has since not been able to return to business or return her five children to school.
But Okechukwu, who heard her story through a report on Signature Television after it was revealed that she hails from Nnenwe in Aninri Council, made attempts to locate the mother of five.
He, therefore, made a cash donation to the family to enable her to return to business, pay her children’s school fees and commended her for not allowing her situation to overwhelm her.
