Erstwhile Director of Corporate Communications and Students Services of Lead City University, Ibadan, Dr Ayobami Owolabi, has been promoted to the post of Deputy Registrar, Corporate Communications and Students Services of the University, effective January 2, 2024.

Owolabi holds the following academic qualifications: B.A (Hons) English, Ogun State University, 1991; Professional Certificate in Public Relations, NIPR,1995; PGD, Marketing Management, Nigeria Institute of Journalism, 1996; Master in Communication Arts, University of Ibadan, 2003; Master in Peace & Conflict Studies, University of Ibadan, 2005; and PhD. Integrated Marketing Communications, LCU, 2010
He also has professional qualifications, which include Fellow, Institute of Personality Development & Customer Relationship Management; Fellow, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, and Fellow, Institute of Corporate & Business Affairs.
Owolabi is the President of the Institute of Personality Development and Customer Relationship Management and also the current President of the World Personality Development Council, North & Sub-Sahara Africa, with headquarters in Ontario, Canada.
