The man approached the stage, saying, “You know who I am. I need to see you at some point while you’re in New York… OK.” It turns out that he had a ticket for the event and initially seemed like he was just finding his seat. However, he suddenly began yelling and causing a disturbance.

Quick action was taken by the event’s security guard. The guard immediately intervened, walking the man across the stage and out through an exit door into the street. This ensured the safety of both Drew Barrymore and Reneé Rapp.

As a precautionary measure, Barrymore and Rapp retreated to the green room for about 10 minutes. They returned to the stage once it was confirmed that everything was fine. The show continued without further interruption.

Interestingly, the man’s actions were not a result of any known threat to Barrymore. According to an insider, this was the first time such an incident had happened to her.
