Aliko Dangote Now The 64th Richest In The World

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote has become the 64th richest person in the world.

Dangote who is the President of Dangote Group moved up to the 64th position with an estimated worth of N6,020,820,000 ($16.6 billion),

His move to the 64th position is a significant considering he was previously ranked 103rd in the world.

Dangote who has been named the richest man in Africa for the 8th year running was the only Nigerian on the list of the top 500 billionaires, as released by Bloomberg in its yearly billionaires list.

The number one position is retained by Jeff Bezos with an estimated net worth of N49,327,200,000,000 ($136 billion) while Bill Gates and Warren Buffett ranked second and third respectively with N35,689,680,000,000 ($98.4 billion) and N30,104,100,000,000 ($83 billion) on the list that is dominated by North Americans.

It would be recalled that Dangote, was also recently named as the sixth most charitable man in the world by Richtopia, a digital periodical that covers business, economics, and financial news, based in the United Kingdom.
