Having worked on the theme song, the actor discussed how music has been therapeutic for him during his recovery.
He said, “I started playing music when I was 12… and the drums and learned different instruments later on. So, the songwriting was therapeutic for me. It’s like my diary. I never had a diary. I use music and piano to write songs and use it like therapy for me, essentially.
“And it wasn’t until later on in life, like 5 years ago, that I actually started releasing music and recording it.
“And then actually. I got to do the theme song for this show, which is cool.”
He continued, “Yeah they asked for like, you know “we need a songs that’s like this and and then like oh we’ll be right back.”
The middle of filming, “Mayor of Kingstown” , I’m like “Alright I’ll find the time” we’ll figure it out.” But I love the opportunities to be able to do that, you know?
On New Year’s Day, Renner sustained severe injuries after being trapped under his 7-ton snowplow while attempting to assist in freeing a relative’s car at his residence in Nevada.
The performer has disclosed that he suffered several broken bones, a punctured liver, and a collapsed lung as a result of the incident.
