Ace Nigerian comedian and actor, Ayo Makun better known by his stage name, AY have taken to social media to lament the huge expectations placed on the rich in society.

According to the ’10 Days In Suncity’ actor, when rich people are expected to help everyone, then they will also go broke but those asking for help usually don’t put this into consideration.

He wrote in an Instagram post:

“From not wanting to dissappoint anybody, people consistently expects u to PLEASE everyone. It’s only in Nigeria your 1Million Naira will attract 20 friends & family with 100k problems each? Why do they always fail to understand that if you give everybody, u will become BROKE too?”

He added:

“People around you should understand that you cannot please everyone all the time. It usually ends up being a terrible move whenever you try to do that amongst people who fails to understand, or lack appreciation for even the little you do.
We can only appreciate the sermon of ‘Give and it will come back to you…’ when you are in position to give. There’s always going to be someone disappointed, so you might as well make yourself happy and Be You. ‘Givers never lack’ no mean say make you lack sense. According to Timaya ‘I CAN’T KILL MYSELF.”

We reported earlier that AY recently educated his fans on the reason why many entertainers flaunt their wealth on social media. According to him, those in show business have to ensure that they are being talked about as this is the only way people can know what they do.

He added that the likes of Dangote won’t flaunt their wealth on social media because they are not into the business of entertainment which is essential to make people relax and laugh. He concluded his post by saying that he wants to be an inspiration to every young person that wants to get into show business.
