Cardi B has teased the lead single off her forthcoming album “Hot Shit.”

The Grammy award-winning rapper announced July 1 as the single’s release date during commercials for Sunday night’s BET Awards.

Cardi B shared a video teaser for the new Tay Keith (Drake, BlocBoy JB) produced single. The short clip featured Cardi on top of a skyscraper with the words “Coming Soon” and “July 1” in orange neon letters.

Cardi B later shared the single’s name on social media.

This announcement comes in light of her long-awaited second studio album. Cardi’s new album will follow her 2018 debut “Invasion of Privacy.” On Playfold’s centrefold, she confirmed that both “WAP” and “Up” will be featured on the new album.
