Davido Bribed With World-Class Studio To Go Back To The University
Davido, the renowned Afrobeats artist whose real name is David Adeleke, recently shared in an interview that his father, Adedeji Adeleke, who is a billionaire, incentivized him to return to the university by offering him a deal.
According to Davido, he had initially dropped out of school and even left home but was eventually persuaded to complete his education through a tempting offer from his father.
The terms of the deal were that if he attended classes regularly from Mondays to Fridays, his father would construct a world-class studio for him on a nearby land, and also provide him with the funds needed to shoot music videos on weekends.
In highlighting his father’s passion for education, Davido noted that he had initially fled to London before returning to Nigeria, but his father’s insistence on education led to their agreement.
Davido expressed his excitement about the prospect of having access to a top-notch studio, and the chance to shoot videos while still studying.
