Lagos, Nigerian-based selector DJ Obi has partnered with the afro-fusion music listening community, talent agency, and label servicing company Engage to bring his live mixes on Apple Music, via the Spin With Engage program. He has released three live mixes that you can listen to.

Since DJ Obi, an award-winning disc jockey, launched Obi’s House, an event that has occurred consistently every Monday night at Hard Rock Cafe, he has sought to amplify the sounds coming out of Africa. The career of Disc Jockey is not an unfamiliar path. Since he began hosting Open House Party shows on Ray Power FM, he has evolved to become one of Nigeria’s most popular DJs. As well as Sarz, DJ Neptune, Burna Boy, Olamide, Joeboy, BNXN, CKay, and Mr Eazi, Obi’s House has featured other DJs, guitarists, and musicians.

According to DJ Obi, “A partnership like this puts us on the global scale as an event, a nation, and a continent. This is how Lagos is partying and the world can now feel that heat from the comfort of their mobile device.”

After becoming an official DJ Mix curator on Apple Music, Spin With Engage has continued to wax strong in churning out some of the most enthralling DJ Mixes across Africa from both established names and an inexhaustible new class of DJs that includes DJ Neptune, DJ Xclusive, DJ Voyst, DJames, DJ Consequence, and many more.

As a result of this partnership, Spin With Engage is more committed than ever to bridge the gap between the producers and listeners of music while delivering a wide variety of bold and exciting mixes that promote African sounds worldwide.
