Ed Sheeran builds an astronomy lab worth £3.7 million in his ‘Sheeranville’ Suffolk estate.

The Shape of You singer’s observatory is equipped with state of the art stargazing implements he uses to recuperate from a busy schedule.

Sources reveal that the singer rarely has days off, especially when on tour. But when the singer has a little bit of time at hand, he indulges in his hobby of looking at the night sky.

The source said “He has all the gear to observe the constellations and knows a thing or two about it all, which might surprise a lot of people.
“There is a powerful telescope for him to use for his stargazing and, because he lives out in the countryside, it is really dark and the visibility is great.
“It has been a fun thing to learn about. Looking up at the night sky can really put things into perspective.”

However, it turns out that this is not the first time that Sheeran has shown keen interest in the solar system as his 2014 song All Of The Stars was used as a soundtrack in the film The Fault In Our Stars.

While the singer has a lot of touring to do with his recently announced 64 gigs and shows across Europe till the end of September, then in Australia and in New Zealand in the months of February and March 2023, the singer will be away from his new ‘toy’ for a while.
