Coach Nancy Nnadi, Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz Limited, has formally withdrawn allegations previously made against gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.
The retraction was made public on Nnadi’s official Instagram page, following legal proceedings and mediation efforts.
In the post she admitted her earlier missteps and expressed a desire for peace and reconciliation, following months of legal and public scrutiny.
“On the advice of my lawyer, and for the sake of peace and love of God, I retract my earlier post about Minister Mercy Chinwo as well as pray Almighty God to perfect the ongoing settlement by THE FATHERS OF FAITH between her and EeZee Conceptz,” her statement read.
The retraction follows a defamation lawsuit filed by Mercy Chinwo’s legal team, Law Corridor, led by Pelumi Olajengbesi. The suit stemmed from accusations made by Coach Nancy, who had alleged financial misconduct by Chinwo amid a contractual fallout involving EeZee Conceptz and its founder, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu (EeZee Tee).
Mercy Chinwo’s legal counsel submitted extensive documentation—including signed agreements, transaction receipts, and digital communication trails—disproving the claims and reinforcing her record of integrity and professionalism.
As part of the legal settlement, Coach Nancy agreed to delete the February 4, 2025, video that ignited the storm, issue a public retraction, and cease any further defamatory actions. All conditions of the agreement have now been fulfilled.
In response, Chinwo’s legal team praised her for “choosing truth over noise and justice over vengeance,” adding that she exemplified grace and spiritual maturity throughout the ordeal.
The matter was peacefully resolved through the mediation of Fathers of Faith, respected elders within Nigeria’s gospel and Christian leadership circles, who played a critical role in guiding both parties toward reconciliation.
This resolution not only clears Mercy Chinwo of all allegations but reaffirms her standing as one of Africa’s most trusted and beloved gospel ministers. Known for her chart-topping hits, spiritual depth, and consistent moral character, Chinwo continues to embody integrity both in music and ministry.
