Each year, Lagos Fashion Week extends beyond the runway. While designers tell stories through their collections, the streets outside the venue become a runway of their own, a spontaneous display of individuality and African creativity in motion.

The 2024 edition of Lagos Fashion Week captured Lagos’ eclectic pulse. Attendees experimented with colour theory, wearing earthy tones, bright neons, and metallics, blurring the line between traditional and contemporary.

Think monochrome ensembles, contrasting textures, minimalist tailoring, sustainable accessories, bold jewellery, and gender-fluid pieces. The hair and makeup complemented the mood, sealing them with sleek, polished, and unapologetically expressive.

This year, we expect to see an exquisite mix of creativity, culture, and community that will once again prove that in Lagos, fashion doesn’t just happen on the runway; it walks the streets too.
