Exciting Events Happening In Lagos This Weekend

The weekend is almost upon us and we have an amazing lineup of events coming up that we feel should be on your radar;

  • [Re:]Entanglements

In the mood for a bit of culture? Then hit the [Re:]Entanglements project exhibition, which will be taking place at the National Museum in Lagos. The exhibition features a series of new contemporary artworks by Kelani Abass, which respond to archival holdings in the National Museum of Northcote Thomas photograph albums. This will be the first exhibition at the National Museum that focuses on the Museum’s archival collections, and that brings together contemporary art and colonial archives.

  • Aspire Music Festival

Zenith Bank is hosting an all-star music festival for new and existing customers this weekend and it’s about to be litt. With scheduled performances from top artistes like Olamide, Phyno, Rema, Niniola and many more.

  • The Foundation Concert

Legendary Nigerian rapper, Ruggedman is set to assemble some of the finest entertainers Nigeria has produced in an epoch-making event this weekend.

The event will feature performances from Rugged Man, Tubaba, 9ice, African China, Daddy Showkey, Eldee, MI, Faze, Duncan Mighty, Baba Fryo, Sunny Nneji, Mr Real, Seyi Shay, Jazzman Olofin and many more.

  • Cinema mon Amour
