The leader in Cognac, the Maison Hennessy,  sets to create a new limited edition bottle for Hennessy Very Special, this is in collaboration with the renowned international visual artist, Felipe Pantone.

This will be done on Monday, 29th July, 2019.  In line with this, the international visual artist known for his masked personality, is set to visit Nigeria for the first time ever to unveil the result of this exciting collaboration from Tuesday July 30th  to Saturday August 3rd, 2019.  It is worthwhile to note that Felipe Pantone has achieved star status without ever publicly revealing his face thus making him an exception on the contemporary art scene.

The bottle design is based on the artist’s original artwork “W-3 Dimensional Three Stars”, a piece inspired by Hennessy’s past. He developed a fresh rendition of an archival quilted pattern and went further to incorporate heritage finds with his own signature shapes, giving the Hennessy Very Special Limited Edition by Felipe Pantone an extra punch with an iridescent lightning bolt that splices the canvas, symbolizing the speed of the digital era.

Speaking on the dynamic collaboration, Brand Manager, Spirits, Moet Hennessy Nigeria, Oluwole Awoleke said.

It’s an honor to showcase the Hennessy Very Special Limited Edition bottle with an international artist of Felipe’s stature in Nigeria.  Limited Editions gives us new opportunities to express Hennessy’s DNA, to elevate the brand through the similarities between the cognac and the artiste’s universes. This limited edition bottle features a disruptive design that ensures strong stopping power in store, Online and on social networks.

In addition to the official bottle launch, the artist will be hosting budding talents within the “Urban Arts” community to a design workshop as well as attend the exclusive preview of the bottle and his some of his artworks at a luxury soiree with artists, Art Connoisseurs, Media and collectors.
