Octavia Spencer has brought her own twist to the ongoing Black Panther wave sweeping through Hollywood.

The Academy Award-winning actress said on Instagram that she plans to buy out a movie theatres in Mississippi–where she will be when the movie opens– to give underserved communities a chance to see the movie.

Her caption read, “I will be in MS when this movie opens. I think I will buy out a theatre in an underserved community there to ensure that all our brown children can see themselves as a superhero. I will let you know where and when Mississippi. Stay tuned. #KingsAndQueensWillRise”

This will not be the first time she has done this as Spencer also bought out screening for Hidden Figures in low-income neighbourhoods in Los Angeles when the movie was released in 2016.

Black Panther is set to hit theatres on Feb 16.
