‎Two familiar faces from the ‘Squatterz’ universe are set to take centre stage in their own comedy series as ‘Tiara & Boma’, a new 13-episode sitcom from ContentGram Studios Africa, premieres on Wazobia Max on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 8:30 PM.

Created and written by Seun Arowojolu, the spin-off takes Tiara and Boma out of the ‘Squatterz’ ensemble and places their wildly contrasting personalities at the centre of a story filled with ambition, social media drama, money problems, relationships and the everyday chaos of surviving Lagos.
‎

Tiara, played by Obadafe Blessed, is an ambitious content creator determined to rebuild her fading online relevance and create the perfect soft-life image. She wants beautiful pictures, strong engagement, brand deals and a lifestyle that looks like everything is going according to plan.
‎

Boma (John Samuel Odinaka) enters the picture with his unpredictable, food-obsessed and unapologetic persona who has little interest in appearances and possesses an unusual ability to turn ordinary situations into unexpected problems.

‎The result is a clash between two very different approaches to life. According to creator Seun Arowojolu, the contrasting personalities of the two characters provide the foundation for the series’ comedy.
‎

“Tiara and Boma see life completely differently. Tiara wants to control how the world sees her. Boma is simply Boma. Putting those two people together gives you endless possibilities for comedy,” Arowojolu said.
‎

He revealed that the series also introduces new characters and relationships around the pair, adding further complications as their growing visibility begins to affect the people around them.
‎

“At its heart, ‘Tiara & Boma’ explores aspiration, survival, online relevance and the contrast between the image people create for social media and the reality behind it, while maintaining the comedy and character-driven storytelling associated with the ‘Squatterz’ universe.

“The series gives us the opportunity to take two characters audiences already know and explore what happens when they have to deal with life together outside the larger ‘Squatterz’ household,” Arowojolu added.
‎

The spin-off also gives existing ‘Squatterz’ viewers an opportunity to see more of two of the show’s distinctive personalities, while remaining accessible to new audiences who may be encountering the characters for the first time.
‎

Arowojolu noted that the new series promises plenty of unexpected situations as the unlikely duo attempt to turn their differences into something that works.
