Gidi Fest is only a few days away and this guide is to nod you in the right direction in terms of what to wear. The thing about festivals of this nature is that they are fun but fashion is also important. So, you need to find a balance between looking stylish and being comfortable enough to breathe and move around.

On that note, here is a style guide for the 2018 Gidi Fest.

Men
For men, a festival guide is a bit less compounded than women’s. The traditional go-to are sandals, shorts and tees, but there are more options for men.

Rompers
This is a male version of a female jumpsuit. This look is both fashionable and function. Men are still not hooked on this look but you should think about giving a try.

Shorts
Shorts are a go-to look for men. Be adventurous with the colours you choose and think of going to a length above the knee for easier movement.

White tee
One of the most classical styles, a white t-shirt is perfect for both male and female. There is no thinking about if you’re overdressed or underdressed. You might need to watch your drinks though, to avoid spills.

Leather sandals
The thing about choosing sandals over slippers is that you avoid the restrictions of walking around in slippers. Sandals make you more secure and free to move.

Women
Here is a list of the women’s guide to Gidi Fest.

Flower ears
Flower ears is a combination of a headband, cat ears and flowers. This look is fun and naughty at the same time.

Crop tops
Crop tops to a festival are easy to wear, and the good thing about it is that you don’t need a jacket. Aside from being fashionable, it reduces heat.

Crochet dresses
Although, not water friendly, crochet dresses are made in a way that makes them air-friendly. Be sure to throw this on and you are set to go.
