Nigeria is celebrating her 58th Independence Day today, October 1 and as part of its way of honouring the country, Google Nigeria search has changed its doodle to the country’s colours.

The search engine has a picture of the seat of power, Aso Rock in the new doodle.

Nigeria’s Independence Day is an official national holiday in Nigeria, celebrated on the first of October. It marks Nigeria’s proclamation of independence from British colonial rule on the 1st October 1960.
