Not again
Chris Rock is receiving backlash for a joke about Nicole Brown Simpson’s tragic murder.
Rock joked that he had no plans to return to the Academy Awards, likening it to asking Simpson “to go back to the restaurant” where she left her eyeglasses before she was killed, according to the Arizona Republic.
In 1994, Nicole Simpson was stabbed to death and her ex-husband O.J. Simpson was tried for her murder in one of the most highly publicized cases in history. Well, it appears that he has a thing for tasteless jokes.

Conqueror of Generations
Hand over the crown to the queen of sports. In a new ad honouring tennis legend, Serena Williams, ahead of her historic first-round match in the U.S Open, Beyoncé said of the 23-time Grand Slam title winner “When the world writes her down in history, we’ll begin where she started — at love.”
“No points, zero score, just love. It’s a love that we’ll remember through the generations. A love that started a movement. A movement to always love exactly who you are and who you can be.”
Indeed, this US Open is important because she will officially retire after this.

“I’m Alive”
The human thought process calls for introspection. With the number of times people have spread rumours about the death of Nigerian veteran actor Olu Jacobs, it begs the question: do people take delight in the death of others? His wife and veteran Nollywood actress Joke Silva has taken to social media AGAIN to refute rumours of his death.
In a statement posted to her Instagram story, the actress informed fans and well-wishers that her husband was well.
A part of the statement read, “To all those who have decided to (ignore) our last warning regarding fake news, kindly prepare for legal actions. Signed House of Jacobs.
