Big Brother Titans Finalist Shocks Ebubu
After Ipeleng, the South African housemate of ‘Big Brother Titan’, won the Supreme Head of House task, which guaranteed her a spot in the grand finale of the show, she shocked Ebubu with an unexpected gift. After the task, ‘Big Brother Ninjas’ presented her with two envelopes from Big Brother. Ipeleng was asked to open one the day she won and keep the second until Big Brother instructed her to do so. The first envelope revealed that she had won the supreme veto power, which automatically took her to the finale. On Sunday, March 12, Ipeleng was instructed to open the second envelope, and in this envelope, the veto power holder and head of house, was given 25 minutes to decide who to take with her to the Big Brother Titans grand finale. Ipeleng shocked viewers and the Titans, as she picked Ebubu to go with her. “Believe in yourself, and show people what you’re capable of,” she told Ebubu, who was still in shock over Ipeleng’s decision.

Costa Titch Confirmed Dead After Collapsing While Performing
Costa Tsobanoglou, popularly known as Costa Titch, was confirmed dead after collapsing on stage during a performance at the Ultra Music Festival, which held at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg last weekend. The South African rapper was seen in several footage to have fallen to the ground during his set and being helped to his feet by guards. Costa continued his performance and, after some seconds, fell again for the second time. He was then rushed to the hospital, where he died. His family made a post on Instagram confirming his death. His family expressed the loss they felt and asked for privacy to mourn during this difficult time.

Asake Debuts Performance On The Tonight Show
The award-winning Nigerian musician Asake sang two of his popular songs during his first-ever performance on The Tonight Show when he was introduced by Jimmy Fallon. The talented artist performed ‘Yoga’, his first release of 2023, and “Organise.” Asake’s outstanding performance captivated the audience, and the composers assisted him by providing musical instruments. Since Nigerian singers Burna Boy and Wizkid’s ‘Last Last’ and ‘Money and Love’ performances in 2022. Asake also recently gave a hint about the release of a new song.

First Asian To Win Best Actress Oscar
Hollywood actress, Michelle Yeoh, made history last wekend, as the first Asian woman to win the Best Actress Oscar. It was her first Oscar nomination. Her enthusiastic performance as an immigrant business owner pushed into a crazy universe in the science fiction film, ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ made her achieve this. While receiving the award, she dedicated it to her mom and other mothers around the world, she said, “they are really the superheroes, and without them, none of us would be here tonight.” She added, “for all the little boys and girls, who look like me watching tonight, this is a beacon of hope and possibilities.”
