You know him when you see him: The well-groomed, arrogant guy that oozes self-confidence.

He knows who he is and what he wants. He has just the right sense of humour and knows what to say to make you walk over the moon. Your instincts tell you he wants sex and will toy with your emotions but your heart tells you to give it a go. Before you say “soulmate”, he has left you worse than you met him.

It is important to know the types of players so you can actively spot and leave before you get emotionally entangled.

The “Hot” Player

The cute guy with Idris Elba looks, killer smile and charming charisma fellow, the one you see in your dreams. That’s the one.

These master strategists pay careful attention to everything they do including their physical appearance because they know that’s what gets the ladies. A lot of women fall victim and swear never to do it again and fall all over again. If your hormones are raging and your head doesn’t quite agree, you might be looking at one.

The Sapio Player

Intelligence is attractive and they know it. They know how to command respect with their intellect. It is easy to depend on these type of people and because they are daring, they will readily offer to help until they get what they want.

The Accidental Player

It is difficult to spot this type until you feel empty. These ones are willing to go all out. They buy flowers, take you to the most expensive dates because they know it’d impress you, might not even propose and he’d subtly allow you talk about it and introduce you to his parents and friends. Although these ones are difficult to spot, your instincts and true friends and family might see what you don’t. Trusting your instincts can also help.
