Following the viral video showing Nollywood actress Regina Daniels in tears, saying, “I cannot stand the violence again,” her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, has reacted with a post on Instagram.
He wrote: “Regina’s Unprovoked Carnage and Rampage in My House and in My Absence.” The senator claimed that Regina’s alleged drug and alcohol abuse is the root of their marital problems. He said she had become violent and destructive, accusing her of hitting three staff members, damaging cars, and breaking windows within 48 hours.
“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drug and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. Sust continue her rehabilitation programme, or I fear for her life and safety,” Nwoko wrote.
He added that Regina had moved to a location where she would have unrestricted access to drugs and stated that he had urged her to continue her rehabilitation, either in Asokoro, Abuja.
Nwoko denied ever being violent towards Regina or any of his other wives.
He wrote, “Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety. Now she has moved to a place where she will have unrestricted access to drugs. I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence. Regina is the violent one here, slapping and hitting 3 staff in the past 48 hours and destroying property, including cars and windows, for no just cause. The truth is, I have set a clear condition for her to accept rehab in Asokoro or outside Nigeria, especially Jordan, where she will not have access to drugs. A clear-headed Regina would have taken Moon to the hospital, but instead, she even threatened to kill our resident nurse (for exposing her drug abuse). While I took Moon to the hospital, a scene of chaos unfolded at home, orchestrated by Sammy, Regina’s main drug supplier. Another known supplier of drugs to Regina is the tiny evil devil called Ann.”
The post has stirred reactions online. One Instagram user, @edwardajeibeautifulmon, questioned how Regina got involved in drugs. He said, “You married her very small and innocent. How did you allow her to start taking drugs?”
Another, @yung_quave, said, “This man is really going through a lot with this girl.
I know this man can’t hurt her if she’s not on something.”
User @nazababy27 added, “You should tell us what happened to her. She wasn’t like this, so what went wrong?”
As of now, Regina Daniels has not publicly responded to her husband’s claims.
