Veteran television host Frank Edoho has declined to give marriage advice to Nigerian content creators Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Elizabeth Amadou, known as Jarvis.

Edoho was approached at the couple’s white wedding in Lagos on Saturday, August 8, 2026, and asked to share some words of wisdom with the newlyweds.

However, the broadcaster jokingly questioned his qualification to counsel them on marriage and chose to offer his good wishes instead.

“You’re asking me, who knows nothing about marriage, to advise the couple? I am going to give my wishes instead,” he said.

Edoho then prayed for happiness, blessings and peace in their marriage.

“I wish Peller the happiest of life, the best of blessings and the utmost of peace,” he added.

The brief exchange quickly gained attention online, with many social media users describing his response as humorous and self-aware.

Edoho is best known for hosting the Nigerian edition of the popular television game show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

His comment also drew interest because of his personal experience with marriage.

The television personality was previously married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang. Their marriage ended after several years together.

He later married Sandra Onyenucheya, but confirmed in May 2026 that they had been separated for almost two years and were undergoing divorce proceedings.

The separation later became the subject of a public dispute after Edoho and Sandra made conflicting allegations about their marriage.

Sandra rejected claims of infidelity and made counter-allegations against the broadcaster. The claims from both parties remain allegations and have not been independently established.

Peller and Jarvis completed their civil wedding in late July before holding a traditional wedding on August 1.

They concluded the celebrations with an intimate white wedding in Lagos on August 8, attended by family members, friends and personalities from the entertainment industry.
