Lagos Fashion Week,  a multi-day fashion event platform that aims to drive and celebrate Nigerian and ultimately, African, fashion industry by showcasing designs from Africa and Japan kicks off today.

The bi-annual showcase held in Africa’s largest city will commence today with a business series dinner at 8:00 P.M.

The show commences tomorrow with a runway show by 6: P.M. Designers, fashion experts, enthusiasts, and media from across the continent and beyond, will be present to view the new season’s collections from designers.

For this year’s Fashion Week, there will be a twist as six emerging designers from Africa and Japan will participate in ‘Fashion & Culture Exchange Africa-Japan’ (FACE.A-J).

The Lagos Fashion Showrooms also feature fashion products, textiles, and accessories with workshops and masterclasses that will enlighten people.

Lagos Fashion Week will also have a showcase of the popular street style, which will start by 2:00 P.M. The street style will give an idea of what type of fashion trend people are leaning towards this season.

We look forward to seeing what this year’s Lagos Fashion Week has to offer.
