Movies are great, and we love how they can keep us entertained for about two hours. Sometimes though, we’d rather settle in and watch a TV series marathon where we can follow the stories of the characters and feel like we’re growing with them.

On days when you want to stay home with some cookies and ice cream and just binge watch a show, here are the TV series we recommend right now:-

Scream Queens

Scream-QueensScream Queens is a star-studded American horror-comedy TV series. Horror in the sense that there are killings going on in the show, and coMedy in the sense that it seems to be written to be a stupid show about murder. I love it because it’s a bad show, but it’s a great bad show. You won’t get it until you watch it, and then you’ll be like “Oh, yeah. She was right.”. Scream Queens follows the tragic, yet incredibly stupid, happenings at Wallace University where a serial killer seems to have a vendett against the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority and is killing everyone associated with the house. Stars in the series include Ariana Grande, Emma Roberts, Lea Michelle, Taylor Lautner and John Stamos. Season one is already done, so you can catch up on that before season 2 starts.

The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Unbreakable-Kimmy-SchmidtI love this show because it’s a new kind of “coming of age” story. Usually TV series tackle coming of ag stories from the angle of teenagers finding their way away from home, but the story of Kimmy Schmidt is one that was of pure interest to me. After 15 years trapped in a cult, Kimmy Schmidt is rescued and refuses to go back home where she will be known as a victim. Instead, she stays behind in New York City to reclaim her life. There, she rents a room with a gay, aspiring broadway actor, takes a job as a nanny, and experiences everyday life with wide-eyed enthusiasm. Together, they take on modern-day problems and help each other through the worst of it.
