Lion King Composer Hans Zimmer Files For Divorce
Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer has filed for divorce from his wife Suzanne Zimmer according to a report by The Blast.
The 62-year-old German composer filed court documents Friday seeking dissolution of his marriage at the Los Angeles County Courthouse.
Hans Zimmer is one of the most famous composer’s for the film industry, winning the Academy Award for Best Original Score in 1995 of ‘Lion King.’
His credits include; The Pirates Of The Caribbean series, Interstellar, Gladiator, Inception, Dunkirk and The Dark Knight trilogy.
Hans also has four Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes, and three Classical BRIT Awards.
In January, it was announced that Hans would be taking over as composer of the upcoming James Bond film No Time To Die.
He approved the theme song No Time To Die by pop star Billie Eilish, 18, who created it with her older brother Phinneas, 22, in October while on tour in Texas as reported by the Daily Mail.
Hans during his career has been nominated for 11 Academy Awards.
He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in December 2010 and dedicated the award to his long-time friend and publicist Ronni Chasen who was shot and killed in November 2010 at age 64 in Beverly Hills, California.
This will not be his first divorce, in 1992, he divorced his first wife, model Vicki Carolin.
Hans and Suzanne have three children together.
