For many, their first impression of Demmie Vee happened through the singer’s contribution to Falz’s 2019 socio-political album, Moral Instruction.

Demmie Vee offered a ear-grabbing chorus for the project’s stand out single dubbed Hypocrite. His voice was soothing, the message was compelling and the delivery was overall, impeccable.

Although many have only discovered Demmie Vee by way of said song, the singer has been around for quite a while and has in fact, earned a number of notable collaborations and solo stand out singles. One of which is his 2Baba featured gospel-esque single, Awesome God and his 2018 bop, Tiff.

Demmie Vee has also been caught up in a fair degree of controversy. In 2018, the singer joined Kizz Daniel’s Fly Boi label but would later make an early exit over complains of being exploited and used by the label.

He is now taking his destiny into his own hands. Nearly a week ago, after what can be deemed a brief hiatus, the singer announced the release date for a new EP which will serve as his first project ever.

The EP which is dubbed Ojoro has been led by two new singles; a Kizz Daniel featured remix of Tiff and an extended version of Hypocrite featuring Davolee.

The EP is slated for a November 15 release and the singer has just put out the project’s lead single dubbed Ojoro. Demmie Vee’s talent is unquestionable and his resort to close the year with a 7-track project is without a doubt, laudable.

If his current momentum is sustained, we can unfailably predict that Vee is about to see himself have an impressive run.
