The 2018 Video Music Awards at the Radio City Music Hall in New York on Monday, August 20 2018. Cardi B led the pack of nominations and also opened the show. The awards saw some stellar moments as Madonna paid tribute to Aretha Franklin, saw Nicki Minaj perform the Queen medley and Jennifer Lopez receive the Michael Jackson 2018 Vanguard Award.
